NOTES HERE:
Hey!
So we discussed some more about the Multicultural Event today.
No worries that no one came. I'm cool with it.
So these are the 'notes' that I took. They'll probably send an e-mail with the notes to us, but this is what I got from it.
Beware! It shall be long!!

It starts at noon on Feb. 22 (Sunday) but there is a mass at 11.
The food will be pancakes, coffee, tea, cultural samples, etc. I think these will be taken care of by the Culinary Club as well as us for our own food.
We have tables/booths for our food and the activities that we wanted to show (aka sushi and origami making). I'm unsure on how many we'll have. They didn't say.
We're also having a fashion show. It will take 30 min. all together and we're still deciding on the timing and what we're going to wear. If you have any Japanese-styled clothes, please put it where you'll remember it! Start looking up the different kinds of fashion so we have an idea of what we could put together.

Okay, so there's this thing called a passport activity where the people get a passport and walk around the booths to do activities and get a stamp or whatever. So I put in that our activity would be making sushi and/or origami. I hope that that isn't too hard to do with some number of people at a time. It was kind of the only thing I could think of on impulse.
Oh, and we need to have a design for the two pages that each club will have in the passport. Mrs. Riley and Mrs. Tupaj-Farthing said that one page will have some info about the country and possibly a picture (if any more can fit) and the other will have a map of the country. That shouldn't be too hard, right? We need to have them done by Jan. 27, so we have time.

Phew, there's more!
There is a rehearsal day planned for the fashion show, I believe. We don't need the clothes yet, but it's just the layout and how we're going to do it.
It's from 12:00-1:30 on Jan. 22 (Thursday) after Finals.
If you have plans when Finals are over, I hope you're considering coming to the rehearsal. It's okay if you can't, or don't want to, come. I'll send an e-mail with the update!

Wow, that is a lot of info! It took so little space on the paper I actually wrote on.
Hope you have some ideas in mind!

Thanks a lot!!
